The Poliniferoused Container of Hans Kalliwoda is beeing lifted of the truck and placed in the Westerpark.
The World in a shell-project will be part of 'Picnic 10' at the Westerpark. This event will start september 22nd.

Tijdelijk museum Heemskerk, naar ontwerp van Anne Holtrop

Het bouwen zit erop. Het gebouw van hout is af en nu klaar om ingericht te worden voor de aankomende expositie. Vanaf 10 augustus a.s. is de gehele tentoonstelling met werken op circa 14 plekken in de duinen rondom Heemskerk te bewonderen. Kijk voor meer informatie op de

Sometimes working is like being on a holiday. These weeks are a bit like that. Currently I am working for Art Assistance Amsterdam, to realise a new design of architect Anne Holtrop. He designed a structure made out of ecoplex, that will hold for the next 2 months a temporary exhibition that is part of the art-route 'Schone Schijn' in the dunes surrounding Heemskerk.

Deze week samen met Art Assistance Amsterdam aan het werk in Almere Poort. Daar komt voor een paar maanden het Tijdelijk Museum Almere.





Het Tijdelijk Museum Almere bestaat uit een kunstgrasveld in de contouren van de plattegrond van Museum De Paviljoens in Almere Stad. Dit grasveld dient als podium voor verschillende activiteiten. Het is - zoals de naam als zegt – tijdelijk, van 30 mei t/m 30 september. Het concept voor Tijdelijk Museum Almere is ontwikkeld door Claudia Linders in opdracht van Ymere en Museum De Paviljoens.

Artist Rowin Snijder will make the gate that will give entrance to the filmfestival in Amsterdam and in Rotterdam. The gate is a sculpture made out of environmental friendly produced wood and recycled cabinets and drawers.

The building of the Polliniferoused Container is drawing to an end. The tent is made and the weather station is beeing installed. One by one the water modules are beeing finished. Only a few weeks and they will be part of the whole installation at the NAI in Rotterdam.

Poppenkastspel tijdens de Kunstmarkt

A.s. zaterdag (6 Maart 2010) geven de kinderen van klas D van 2e Montessori basisschool 't Winterkoninkje hun eerste poppenkastspel voorstelling. De kinderen hebben de poppen zelf gemaakt en ook de 6 verhalen die voorgedragen zullen worden, zijn ontsproten aan de fantastie van de kinderen zelf.
Het belooft een mooi spectacel te worden.

De poppenkast voorstelling wordt gegeven als onderdeel van de Kunstmarkt die jaarlijks wordt gehouden op 't Winterkoninkje, om geld in te zamelen voor nieuwe speel- en leermiddelen en dit jaar ook om geld op te halen ter ondersteuning van de slachtoffers van de ramp in Haiti.

I just became a fan of Folkert De Jong

Today made a visit to the Groninger Museum. Had wanted to go for ages, but today finally acctually did. I already loved his work on the photo's I had seen, but going around the rooms with the installations, with his sculptures was amazingly inspiring. Thank you Folkert for your inspiring work and craftmenship!

Some projects are short and fast, some are not... Having finished this set of wooden boxes has maybe been one of the most challenging projects for me so far. Not for the pieces themselves, but the whole combination of finding technical solutions, usabillity, finance and the ti me-schedule have made it to an extremely challenging project for me.
I can hardly wait for the modules to be completely assembled and see them opperating in the Polliniferoused Container, somewhere in Africa or any other place around the world.

Hoera! Weer een creatieve plek in de buurt erbij!

Vandaag zag ik dit spandoek, vlakbij mijn atelier aan de Bellamystraat. Er zitten weer krakers in de oude tram remise. De Hallen zijn eindelijk weer in gebruik!
